JD Brewer is the owner and operator of Apex Welding Services near Atlanta GA. Today I am in JDs shop doing some pipe welding.

JD has a Lincoln Powermig 210 mp and has come to rely on it for shop use as well as using it in the field.
Todays video shows how he uses the 210mp for pipe welding doing a TIG root and hot pass, followed up by a fill and cap using dual shield flux core using .035" lincoln 71m outershield.
Also shown in this video is the Ridgid b500 pipe and plate beveler.
Preparation of the pipe joint is an important part of making a good weld. Grinding a bevel is the common way to put a bevel on a pipe for some contractors, it will make sense to use a bevel machine like the ridgid b500. it makes very consistent bevels in about one minute.
