Growing up on a dairy farm, it was inevitable that Tony DeGroot would start his own dairy farm. In 1981, he started Tonesa Holsteins and now relishes in the pride that comes with running a successful business producing a healthy product for the local community. Being his own boss isn't so bad either.
Tony and his wife have always valued the trust their customers place in them. They also share their customers' belief in the value of knowing where food comes from and knowing the people that produce it. This trust drives his dedication to producing a high quality product. With such a great role model to look up to, the deGroot children have now taken an interest in the family business. No doubt, the start of a great legacy.
